KCR extends May Day greetings to working-class

BRS chief and former Telangana CM K. Chandrashekar Rao extended May Day greetings, praising workers and farmers for their role in nation-building. He highlighted welfare measures and industrial policies introduced during the BRS regime, stressing that continuing the development agenda would best support the working class.

Hyderabad: BRS chief and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao extended greetings to the working-class on the eve of International Workers’ Day or popularly celebrated as May Day. He lauded the role of farmers and workers in nation-building, terming their hard work and contribution invaluable across sectors.

In a statement, Chandrashekhar Rao recalled that the BRS government implemented several welfare schemes and industrial policies aimed at improving the lives of workers and farmers. 


He reminded people about support extended to Singareni workers, RTC staff, construction labourers, auto drivers and also those in the unorganised sector, during the BRS regime.

He said Telangana witnessed strong job creation during the BRS tenure due to its industrial policies. He added that continuing the development agenda of the past decade would be the best way to support the working-class.
