KCR extends Raksha Bandhan greetings, calls brother-sister bond cherished

Hyderabad: BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao extended Raksha Bandhan greetings to the people of Telangana on Thursday on the eve of the festival. He termed brother-sister bonding as one of the most cherished human bonds.
In a statement, Chandrashekhar Rao said the bond between brothers and sisters was timeless. He recalled that Raksha Bandhan had a special place in India’s family, cultural and traditional life. He stated that only when people of the country shun hatred and selfishness, and live together in a spirit of fraternity, the ideal of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam will be achieved.
