KCR extends Rs.2.25 crore aid to late Peddi Sudarshan Reddy’s family
BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao will visit Nallabelli village on Sunday to console the family of former MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy. He has announced Rs 2.25 crore financial assistance for the family and assured continued support for the children

Hyderabad: BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao will visit Nallabelli village near Narsampet on Sunday to console the family of former MLA late Peddi Sudarshan Reddy.
The BRS Chief described Sudarshan Reddy as his key aide, who had worked with dedication for the party since its inception. During his visit to Nallabelli, he will meet Sudarshan Reddy’s family members and offer his condolences to them. He will also reassure the family and convey his support during the difficult time. The BRS chief is also expected to meet BRS leaders, activists and followers of Sudarshan Reddy in the Narsampet constituency and instil confidence among them.
Chandrashekhar Rao has also announced financial assistance of Rs 2.25 crore to the family of Sudarshan Reddy. The BRS chief took the decision after consulting senior party leaders and key leaders of the party’s Warangal district unit. He said the BRS would stand by the family of the former MLA.
As part of the assistance, Rs 1 crore each would be provided to Sudarshan Reddy’s two children. Another Rs 25 lakh would be deposited in a bank account in the name of his mother, Amrutamma, considering her advanced age and to support her care and well-being. The BRS chief also said the party would continue to monitor the family’s welfare, particularly the children’s future and education, and extend support as required.
Following the completion of Sudarshan Reddy’s post-funeral rituals, key district party leaders would meet to finalise further welfare measures for the family, K Chandrashekhar Rao said, reiterating that the party would continue to support them in the long run.
