KCR greets Muslims on Milad-un-Nabi, calls for secularism and communal harmony

BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao extended Milad-un-Nabi greetings to the Muslim community, highlighting Prophet Mohammed’s teachings on peace, brotherhood and compassion. He said the BRS government’s welfare initiatives strengthened Telangana’s Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb and called for communal harmony.

Hyderabad: BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao extended greetings to Muslims brethren on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed.

In a statement, Chandrashekhar Rao said the Prophet’s teachings on brotherhood, peace, tolerance, love and compassion remained an inspiration for all.

He said the BRS government’s decade-long efforts for the welfare and development of Muslim community had strengthened Telangana’s Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb. He called for upholding constitutional secularism and promoting harmony among people of different faiths, cultures and traditions.
