Karimnagar: BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar on Thursday said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was taking government schemes to the doorsteps of the people, treating all sections equally, and ensuring funds, lands and various schemes to the people.
The Minister, participating in Padmanayaka Sangham meeting in Huzurabad, said Padmanayaks maintain cordial relationships with all sections of society. Velamas were providing financial assistance to the backward people in the community. Not only Velama community, poor people from other communities have also been provided assistance by the community, he said.
Padmanayakas, he said, were not a dominating community, and added that they help other sections of the community.
Padmanayaka Velama sangham has a beautiful building in Karimnagar and the Minister assured the community of all help possible for the construction of a community bhavan in Huzurabad constituency.
Karimnagar Mayor Y Sunil Rao, Srinivas Rao, Sampath, Shekhar Rao and others participated in the meeting.
