KCR to chair BRS meeting to mark Foundation Day on April 27

Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) will hold a crucial meeting at Telangana Bhavan on April 27 at 2 pm, marking the conclusion of the party’s silver jubilee celebrations. The party president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will chair the meeting, which will be attended by key functionaries.
The meeting assumes significance as Chandrashekhar Rao is expected to announce key decisions aimed at strengthening the party’s organisational structure. Discussions will focus on revamping the party framework and accelerating the membership drive, with emphasis on expanding the cadre base across the State. He is also likely to provide direction to party leaders on the future course of action and strategies to mobilise cadre at the grassroots level.
In a statement, the party working president KT Rama Rao said all senior leaders have been asked to attend the meeting. The invitees include members of the State executive committee, district presidents, heads of affiliated wings, MPs, MLAs and MLCs. Former legislators, former corporation chairpersons and former Zilla Parishad chairpersons have also been invited.
