Mancherial: ‘Mahanati’ fame actress Keerthy Suresh sizzled in Mancherial on Friday as hundreds of fans gathered to catch a glimpse of the heroine when she came to the town to inaugurate a shopping mall.

Hundreds of people visited on the premises of the mall to see the actress who was clad in a red sari. They waited for her arrival for about two hours and vied for photographs and selfies with the actress. Due to the large gathering, the roads witnessed traffic snarls forcing police to divert the traffic.

Addressing the gathering, Keerthy expressed her gratitude for the adulation from the fans. She said she was fortunate to be loved by thousands of fans and for the grand welcome by the people of Mancherial. Replying to a query, she said she was working in Mahesh Babu starrer ‘Sarkaruvari Paata’ and had also signed to be a part of another project with mega star Chiranjeevi.

Meanwhile, renowned folk artiste Kinnera Mogilaiah enthralled the audience with his songs accompanied with his unique musical instrument.

Earlier, Prohibition and Excise Minister V Srinivas Goud formally inaugurated the shopping mall on September 22. MLA Nadipelli Diwakar Rao, municipal chairperson P Rajaiah, vice-chairperson Gajula Mukesh Goud and many others were also present.
