Keystone and St Francis crowned basketball champions in Secunderabad
Keystone Basketball Academy men and St Francis College women emerged champions in the Annual League Basketball Championship at YMCA Secunderabad. Keystone beat Titans 75–66, while St Francis edged Nizam Basketball Academy 57–55 in closely fought finals
Hyderabad: Keystone Basketball Academy men and St Francis College women emerged champions in the Annual League Basketball Championship for the GM Sampath Kumar Trophy at YMCA Secunderabad on Tuesday.
In an exciting contest till the last six minutes, Keystone Basketball Academy scored a hard-fought 75–66 win over Titans after leading 44–36 at half-time.
In the women’s section, St Francis College scored a 57–55 win against Nizam Basketball Academy after the two teams were locked 48-all at half-time.
Narayanan Sri Ganesh, Cantonment MLA, gave away the prizes.
