KGBV girls explore Manjeera dam, enjoy adventure trip in Sangareddy
Students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Pulkal, went on an adventure trip to Manjeera dam arranged by the Sangareddy district administration. Collector P Pravinya interacted with them, highlighting the value of outdoor learning and urging the girls to stay strong and achieve big goals
Sangareddy: The district administration arranged an adventure trip for students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV), Pulkal, to Manjeera dam, where they spent their time going around the dam area and watching the wildlife on Thursday.
They also spent some time in tents during the lunch break. Later, Collector P Pravinya, who reached the spot, interacted with the students and enquired about their experience. The Collector underlined the importance of going on adventure trips frequently to gain first-hand experience of nature. She called upon the young girls to be strong in their life and to achieve something big. Trainee Deputy Collectors Prathiba, Deepika and others were present.
