KGBV students admitted with severe cough recovering in Peddapalli hospital
Stating that there was no need to worry about the health condition of students since all of them were stable, Minister D Sridhar Babu assured to provide treatment till the students recovered completely

Peddapalli: The 53 students of the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Mutharam, students, who were admitted to Peddapalli government hospital, following complaints of severe cough and breathing trouble, are slowly recovering.
IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu, who visited them on Monday they were being treated by 10 doctors and 20 staff nurses. Stating that there was no need to worry about the health condition of students since all of them were stable, he assured to provide treatment till the students recovered completely. Some of the students have a medical history of developing respiratory problems during winter. Oxygen facility was made available for such students, he said, adding that a revenue official was deployed in the hospital to monitor the treatment being provided to students. The reason for such a high number of students falling ill was being examined, he said.
The Minister also said officials were instructed to shift a dumpyard near the KGBV school. The Collector was also asked to pay special focus on sanitation and cleanliness in the school.
