Karimnagar: To provide quality education to poor students, the government is competing with corporate educational institutions. Besides improving facilities in government schools, innovative methods have also been adopted to strengthen education standards.
As part of this, students in social welfare as well as gurukulam schools have been provided special coaching to appear for NEET, IIT JEE and other top entrance examinations.
Similarly, the government has decided to provide NEET, IIT JEE and CLAT coaching to girls studying in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV).
Besides intermediate education, coaching for NEET, IIT JEE and CLAT entrance examinations will be given from the next academic year. For this purpose, three KGBVs have been selected in each district. A total of 12 schools have been selected in the erstwhile Karimnagar district.
Students will be selected for the coaching through a common entrance test (CET). Students studying Class X are eligible to apply for the test by visiting the TGRJC website. April 15 is the last date to submit online applications.
The test will be conducted on May 3. Selected students will be given admission to specialised schools earmarked for coaching.
