Warangal: Director, National Institute of Technology, Warangal (NITW), Prof N V Ramana Rao inaugurated a Khadi Textile Expo at Dr Br Ambedkar Learning Centre NIT Warangal Campus on Friday.
“For the last four years, NIT Warangal has been giving priority to wearing khadi textiles. It is a privilege to participate in the NITW Convocation Ceremony with all the students and officials wearing khadi and handloom garments,” he said.
Khadi exhibition is being organised for NITW employees on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi birth anniversary. Director advised all the employees to visit and purchase the khadi textiles. Though it is meant for the NIT employees those who are interested to visit it, can do it getting permission from NIT authorities, a press release said.
