Hyderabad: Khalsa scored a nine-wicket win against Nizamabad in the final of the HCA B-Division T20 league-cum-knockout tournament here on Sunday.

Batting first, Nizamabad was restricted to 167 for nine in 20 overs, with Srikar Reddy Yedla (75) being the top scorer, while S. Ritvik (four for 22) bowled well for Khalsa.


In reply, Khalsa chased down the target in the 19th over, thanks to fine knocks by M. Hansin Reddy (69 not out) and Manikanteshwar Reddy (81).

In the A-Division T20 league-cum-knockout match, Y. Chaitanya Krishna’s blistering century (104 off 48 balls, 9 fours, 9 sixes) went in vain for Central Excise as Balaaji recorded a two-wicket win.

B-Division T20 Knockout Final: Nizamabad District 167/9 in 20 overs (Srikar Reddy Yedla 75, Ritvik S 4/22) lost to Khalsa 170/1 in 18.4 overs (M. Hansin Reddy 69 not out, Manikanteshwar Reddy 81).

A-Division T20 League-cum-Knockout: Central Excise 245/6 in 20 overs (M. Jashwanth 89, Y. Chaitanya Krishna 104 off 48 balls, 9 fours, 9 sixes) lost to Balaaji 249/8 in 20 overs (Hrishikesh Simha 55, Paras Raj 59, Shubham Sharma 38 not out, P. Saaketh 3/35).
