Khammam: As many as 33 students of Swarna Bharathi Institute of Science and Technology (SBIT) in Khammam have secured placements in different multinational companies.
Final year B Tech and MBA students of the institute got jobs through a recent campus placement drive conducted by the companies, informed the SBIT Chairman Gundala Krishna here on Tuesday.
He stated that the institute has been striving hard to fulfill the dreams of parents who want their children to excel in studies and to have better career prospects. Every student aims to achieve big in life. The college faculty and training and placement wing has been making indomitable efforts to help them reach their goals.
Krishna revealed that a total of 15 students secured offer letters from Bengaluru based multinational IT major Infosys, seven each from Wipro and Virtusa, two each from Mind Tree and Hexaware Technologies. He congratulated the students who got jobs.
The college secretary and correspondent Dr. G Dhatri said that training and placement has adopted a holistic approach to train the students in a creative manner to help them boost their employment opportunities.
SBIT principal Dr. G Raj Kumar informed that in the current year as many as 115 students have secured jobs through campus placements. A total of 28 students got job offers from TCS, 33 from Wipro, 26 from Capgemini and 15 from Infosys.
The college Academic Directors Dr. C Srinivasa Sharma, Dr AVV Shiva Prasad, Dr. G Subhash Chander, and G Praveen Kumar and Training and Placement Officer Savitha also congratulated the students.
