Khammam: Bodies of three fishermen found in Kattaleru stream near Meenavolu bridge
The bodies of three men who went missing while fishing in the Kattaleru stream near Meenavolu bridge were recovered by the NDRF on Friday. Officials supervised the operation. The victims were from Banjara village in Khammam’s Yerrupalem mandal.
Khammam: The bodies of three persons who went missing in Kattaleru stream near Meenavolu bridge in the district on Thursday were found on Friday.
The deceased Badwat Raju (55), Bhukya Koti (46) and Mukta (25) of Banjara village in Yerrupalem mandal went fishing in the stream when the incident happened. The tahsildar Usha Sharada and Sub-Inspector of Police Ramesh monitored the search operation by the NDRF team. A pall of gloom descended on the village following their death.
