Khammam: BRS ranks asked to make Deeksha Diwas a success

Inauguration of historic Telangana Udyama Prasthanam photo-exhibition at Telangana Bhavan would take place at 10.30 am. It would be followed by Deeksha Diwas Sabha at the district party office.

Khammam: BRS MP Vaddiraju Ravichandra and the party district president, MLC Tatha Madhusudhan have called upon the party ranks in the district to organise large scale programmes marking Deeksha Diwas on Friday.

Speaking to the media here on Thursday, they said the BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao led the Statehood movement on the path of non-violence shown by Mahatma Gandhi and fulfilled the long-cherished desire of the people by achieving separate Telangana.


The activities planned on Friday in Khammam are as follows, ‘Pulabhishekam’ to Telangana Talli statue at NTR circle at 9 am, paying of tributes to Telangana Martyrs Stupa at pavilion grounds at 9.30 am, distribution of fruits and food donation to patients at Government General Hospital at 10 am.
