Khammam CP Sunil Dutt kicks off police duty meet
He launched the district level police duty meet here on Wednesday. 40 police officers from across the district participated in the programme which was held at the Police Training Centre.

Khammam: Commissioner of Police Sunil Dutt said that gathering proper evidence and effective criminal investigation were crucial for ensuring justice to the affected persons.
He launched the district level police duty meet here on Wednesday. 40 police officers from across the district participated in the programme which was held at the Police Training Centre.
Competitions in photography and videography, forensic science, fingerprints, handling, lifting, packing section, bomb disposal squad, sniffer dog wing, tracking and explosive sections.
Speaking on the occasion, Dutt said that the police duty meet would help in gaining technical knowledge and learning techniques needed for the investigation of cases. Similarly it was an opportunity to demonstrate police skills and exchange ideas.
He said that those who have shown talent at state and national level would get more cooperation and encouragement from police officers from different areas and it helps in solving complex cases. The winners of the police duty meet held at the national level would be well recognised.
The CP explaining the importance of scientific crime investigation asked all the participants to give their best in the meet and represent the State. Additional DCP (admin) Naresh Kumar, ACP Ravi and others were present.
