Khammam: Kapu Sangham extends support to Palla in MLC elections

Khammam: The district Kapu Sangham leaders have extended their support to TRS Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Graduates MLC candidate Palla Rajeshwar Reddy for the March 14 election.
The sangham leaders gave the assurance at an ‘Athmeeya Sammelanam’ here on Friday where Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar addressed a huge gathering of the community members.
The minister, who described himself as a friend of Kapus, said the community members have always supported him in his electoral battles and the same kind of backing should be extended to Rajeshwar Reddy in the MLC elections.
Ajay Kumar said the TRS party has accorded priority to the community leaders to help them grow politically. The Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has come up with several measures for the welfare of the community.
He urged the community graduates to give their first preferential vote to the TRS nominee to reelect him with a huge majority. BJP’s only agenda was to divide the society on communal lines to get political mileage, he said.
Congress party ruled for over six decades but failed to develop Telangana. The Chief Minister was moving ahead with a development agenda to make the State prosper on all fronts with focus on effective use of water, funds and creating jobs for youth.
‘Many leaders have been asking the voters to elect those who could question the government. I request you to keep aside those who only want to question and elect Rajeshwar Reddy, who would resolve the issues’, Ajay Kumar stated.
Kapu Sangham district president P Nageswar Rao and secretary K Vijay Kumar asserted that they were always associated with the TRS and would continue the same now. SUDA Chairman B Vijay Kumar and TRS party office in-charge RJC Krishna also spoke.
The minister also held a meeting with the members of NRI Parents Association on the day. He urged them to look at the development Telangana witnessed during the past six years and cast their first preference vote to the TRS candidate.
To ensure transparency as many as 17 RTA services offered online and introduced TS-bPASS for hassle-free building permissions and layout approvals. Importance was given to uninterrupted power supply and promoting IT in tier-II cities, Ajay Kumar explained.
