Khammam: A new viewers gallery has come up at the police parade grounds here.
Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar inaugurated the gallery on Saturday. The State government has constructed the spacious gallery on both sides of the stage at the ground at a cost of Rs 18 lakh.
The Minister along with District Collector VP Gautham and Commissioner of Police (CP) Vishnu S Warrier inspected the facility. The CP explained that the gallery would be suitable for giving briefings on official activities as well as for conducting indoor and outdoor classes related to police training and the procedures to be followed in duty.
Mayor P Neeraja, SUDA Chairman B Vijay Kumar, AMC Chairperson D Lakshmi Prasanna, DCP Injarapu Puja, ACPs Anjaneyulu, Prasanna Kumar and Vijaya Babu, CIs Chittibabu, Sridhar, Sarvaiah, Ramakrishna, N Anjali and others were present.
