Khammam: Sanskrutika Saradhi and folk artists collected donations for the past four days in Khammam city for the relief of families affected by Munneru floods.

They gathered Rs 50,000 and handed over the money to district Collector Muzmil Khan. Similarly they provided essential commodities to unemployed artists P Ramu, P Vijay, G Pulla Rao, E Madhu, C Ranga and others who were affected by floods.


The members of Sri Sai Vasavi Mahila Bhajan of Gandhi Nagar in Wyra town in the district handed over Rs 14, 000 to the Collector for the relief of Munneru flood affected families as part of Naa Khammam Kosam Nenu initiative. The residents of an apartment in Netaji Nagar of 12th division handed over an amount of Rs 25, 000 to the Collector for the purpose.
