Khammam tahsildar, RI caught red-handed by ACB while taking bribe
ACB officials in Khammam caught the Tallada tahsildar, revenue inspector and a Dharani data entry operator red-handed while accepting a Rs 10,000 bribe for land registration. The trap was laid following a farmer’s complaint.

Khammam: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials caught Tallada tahsildar, revenue inspector (RI) and data entry operator red-handed as they demanded and accepted a bribe on Wednesday.
The tahsildar Vankayala Suresh Kumar (A1), RI Maloth Bhaskar Rao (A2) and Dharani operator (outsourcing) Shivaji Rathod (A3) demanded Rs. 10,000 for registering a piece of land belonging to a farmer in Tallada. A3 received the bribe on behalf of the two other accused.
Acting upon the complaint of the farmer, Khammam ACB range DSP Y Ramesh and staff laid a trap and caught them. The tainted money was recovered; the accused were arrested and will be produced before the special judge for SPE and ACB cases, Warangal, the DSP said.
