Khammam: Movements of a tiger have been reported in Sathupalli forest range in the district. The big cat’s pug marks were spotted at Kistaram and Jagannadhapuram in the forest range by the locals shepherds on Friday. Upon receiving information from them a forest officials team inspected the area where the pug marks were found.
Speaking to the media on Saturday Forest Range Officer Venkateshwarlu informed that camera traps have been set up in the forests to track the movements of the tiger. The villagers were alerted not to venture into the forests and cautioned not to cause any harm to the tiger.
