Khammam: Two persons, including a woman, were held on the charge of robbing a private bank manager under the pretext of offering a lift in their car, here on Tuesday.

Khammam CI Satyanarayana Reddy, in a statement, said the two were found moving suspiciously during vehicle inspection at Kodad cross roads and were caught while they were going to Sujatha Nagar in Kothagudem district.

The accused were identified as Daravath Kavitha and Kurra Ayyappa of Hyderabad.
The manager, Domalapalli Mattaiah of Sriram Nagar in Khammam, works in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh and he came into the trap of the accused while he was waiting for a bus at LB Nagar bus station in Hyderabad to come to his native place on Feb 26.
