Khelo India 2025: Osmania University outplays Pune University in commanding 3–0 victory
Osmania University reached the semifinals of the Khelo India Championships with a strong 3–0 win over Pune University. Sreemanya Reddy and Chevika Reddy won their singles matches easily, and OU also claimed the doubles match to complete the sweep
HYDERABAD: Osmania University moved into the semifinals of the Khelo India University Championships 2025 with a dominant 3–0 win over Savitribai Phule Pune University in Jaipur on Tuesday.
In the first singles, Anugonda Sreemanya Reddy defeated Shravani Khawale convincingly 6-3, 6-1.
Sama Chevika Reddy followed with a strong 6-0, 6-3 win against Sanika Bhogade in the second singles, sealing the tie for OU.
The doubles pair of Saumya Ronde and Sama Chevika Reddy completed the sweep, beating Sanika and Shravani 6-1, 6-4.
