Hyderabad: Nishka Agarwal of Telangana clinched gold in the women’s all-round individual championship (artistic) in the on-going Khelo India Youth Games in Patna on Tuesday.

The 16-year-old Nishka, who made a golden debut in the National Games l earlier this year getting the better of Olympian Pranati Nayak, made a huge impact in the Youth Games under the mentorship of her longtime coach Manoj Rana.

The coach said Nishka’s strong points were her determination, sharp mind, physical strength and willingness to put in that extra effort, never complaining.

“She is being trained to be mentally much tougher as she takes on the more seasoned opponents,” the proud coach Rana said, even while thanking Aurobindo Pharma for supporting her.
