Kidney racket: Telangana CID arrests two more in Saroornagar case
The Telangana Crime Investigation Department (CID) has arrested two more individuals in connection with a kidney transplant racket busted in Hyderabad’s Saroornagar in April.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Crime Investigation Department (CID) has arrested two people who are allegedly involved in a kidney transplant racket busted in April in the city.
The arrested duo are P Pavan Kumar of Andhra Pradesh and Pardeep Kumar Gupta of Haryana.
According to Additional DGP CID, Charu Sinha, the duo was actively involved in the racket along with 17 others who were arrested in the case reported at Saroornagar in the city in April.
Pavan Kumar arranged kidney donors from different States while Pardeep Kumar identified the persons who were in need of kidney transplant. For every transplant, Pardeep received a commission of Rs. 10 lakh, said Charu Sinha.
