Killing of woman by tiger: Prohibitory orders issued in parts of Kaghaznagar

In a statement, the police stated that the curfew had been enforced in villages 1, 3, 5, 8, 9, and 10 in Easgaon Gram Panchayat, along with Seethanagar, Anukoda, Gannaram, Kadamba, Areguda, and Babanagar villages in Kagaznagar mandal. This measure was taken to prevent residents from entering the forests and agricultural fields due to the reported movement of a tiger in the area.

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Prohibitory orders as per Section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) or 163 of Bharatiya Nagarika Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) was imposed in several villages of Kagaznagar mandal in the wake of movement of a tiger on Friday.

In statement, police said that the curfew was imposed in villages numbered 1, 3, 5, 8, 9 and 10 in Easgaon gram panchayat, Seethanagar, Anukoda, Gannaram, Kadamba, Areguda and Babanagar villages of Kagaznagar mandal to prevent residents from entering forests and agriculture fields following the movement of a tiger.
