‘King of rhythm & vigour’ rings in 57th birthday
Actor Govinda, known for his excellent dancing skills and great coming timing, turns a year older and Bollywood celebrates the occasion
As Bollywood star Govinda rang in his 57th birthday on Monday, the actor received heart-warming wishes from his friends and co-stars from the industry on social media.
Madhuri Dixit Nene took to Twitter and penned an adorable wish for her co-actor and the star “who brings a smile on everyone’s face’. The Kalank actor also posted throwback pictures with Govinda, as they have a gala time on the sets of a TV show. “Your films, dance, dialogues… your presence alone brings a smile on everyone’s face including mine. Sending you my best wishes on your birthday. Happy birthday, @govindaahuja21,” she tweeted.

Karisma Kapoor, one of Govinda’s frequent co-stars, also took to her Instagram story to share birthday wishes for the Hero No. 1 actor. Karisma wrote: “Happy Birthday Chi Chi,” while Sayani Gupta posted: “It’s @govindaahuja21 ‘s birthday! Can we take a moment to appreciate the King of Rhythm & Vigour! All time favourite! He just infused Joy!”

Govinda is considered one of the best dancers Bollywood has ever witnessed. The actor is also known for his excellent comic timing.
