Hyderabad: The newly built Komuravelli Punyakshetram Railway Station is scheduled to be inaugurated on July 26.

The station, built at a cost of around Rs 6 crore on the Manoharabad–Siddipet rail line, has been developed to improve connectivity for devotees visiting the Komuravelli Mallanna Temple. It is equipped with a high-level platform, shelters, waiting hall and passenger amenities.

Union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy will inaugurate the newly built station in the presence of public representatives and railway officials.

To mark the inauguration, the Siddipet–Secunderabad DEMU train will be flagged off from the new station by the dignitaries. Four DEMU services between Secunderabad and Siddipet will now halt at Komuravelli Punyakshetram, improving connectivity for pilgrims, students, employees and local residents while boosting religious tourism and regional development.
