Kumram Bheem Asifabad: As part of community policing, Tiryani cops in collaboration with Kasturi Foundation, a Nalgonda-based voluntary organization, distributed kits consisting of a school bag, notebooks, examination pad, plate and water bottle to 500 tribal students studying Class IX and X at Zilla Parishad High School during a programme held in Tiryani mandal centre on Thursday.
Asifabad DSP Accheshwar Rao was the chief guest of the event, which was attended by the foundation’s chairman Sricharan.

Addressing students, Accheswar Rao opined that only education would help the financially weak students to succeed in life. He stated that the government was extending a slew of facilities to the pupil belonging to weaker sections and advised them to reach higher levels by being disciplined and focused on education. “Any ambition can be achieved if you are determined and show perseverance,” he added.
The DSP was all praise for Tiryani Sub-Inspector P Rama Rao for conducting a wide-range of community service programmes and Kasturi Foundation for extending its helping hand to the tribal students. He suggested philanthropists and policemen to draw inspiration from the police official and the voluntary organization in serving the needy.
Telangana Recognised Schools Management Association (TRSMA) vice president K Padmacharan, associate president Gopati Sattaiah, Vidyabharati Educational Trust chairman Sharath Rao, Rebbena Inspector Satheesh, Tiryani Sub-Inspector Rama Rao, headmaster of the school Sadmeka Ramu and many others were present.
