Warangal: Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science Secretary and Correspondent Capt V Laxmikantha Rao said four final year students had been selected as software engineers with the package of Rs 16 lakh per annum. The students were Mankala Sai Vythik, Maada Amith Reddy, Mudigiri Susmitha from the CSE department and Madugula Akishith Reddy from the IT department. “As many as 88 students were selected in Wipro Elite National Talent Hunt, Hyderabad and 60 in Mu Sigma, Hyderabad in the campus selections,” he added.

KITS treasurer P Narayana Reddy said that several other companies were going to recruit the candidates soon from the college and asked the final year students to prepare well for interviews. “Constant practice and developing latest technological skills are very important for getting good placements,” he added.

College Principal Prof K Ashoka Reddy said imparting instruction-based education with a focus on Innovation Incubation Research and Entrepreneurship (IIRE) activities were helping students bag lucrative jobs. “Our proud alumni and industry experts, being the members of the Board of Studies, are actively involved in upgrading the curriculum of all branches of engineering to meet the growing requirements from time to time,” he said.
