KITS Warangal students asked to inculcate human values
The KITSW organized "Student Induction Program (SIP) / Universal Human Values-I (UHV-1)" for the benefit of the students from November 25 to December 1.
Warangal Urban: Students of the first year B.Tech in the Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal (KITSW) have been asked to inculcate universal human values (UHV) besides self-confidence and physical fitness to be a good citizen and a good human being.
The KITSW organized “Student Induction Program (SIP) / Universal Human Values-I (UHV-1)” for the benefit of the students from November 25 to December 1, and the valedictory session has been organised on Tuesday, said KITS Principal Prof K Ashoka Reddy in a press note here on Tuesday.
He also added that the students were elucidated the importance of the human values besides having self-confidence, physical fitness and brotherhood. “We have covered topics like personality development, the essence of SIP, the importance of online MOOCs certification, expert talks on UHV, psychology, emerging trends specific to branch, Ideation fest (theme: Role of an engineer in smart city scenario), Alumni connect, department alumni interaction, the activity of the Student Activity Centre (SAC) Clubs, the importance of soft skills and English and the importance of yoga in daily life as per the AICTE guidelines,” he added.
“Technical lead, TCS Hyderabad, K Giridhar, NITW Prof V Hari Kumar, Psychologist Barupati Gopi, Prof Ch Sribabu, Dean SAC, KITS, M Narasimha Rao, Prof U S Balraj, Associate professors V Chandra Shekhar Rao, Dr Ch Sateesh Chandra, Dr K. Rajendra Prasad, Dr C. Srinivas and Dr P Vijay Kumar have delivered talks and conducted special technical sessions,” Ashoka Reddy said and added that Associate Dean M. Raghuram, Coordinators and HoD of PSS Prof T Madhukar Reddy, HoD of M&HS Dr K Shivashankar, Associate Professor and PRO Dr D Prabhakara Chary were present.
