Warangal: Navaneeth Reddy Boda, a B.Tech final year ECE student of the Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Warangal, landed a job in MoEngage Inc, Bangalore, as ‘frontend engineer’ with a pay package of Rs 14 Lakh Per Annum (LPA). Naveenth Reddy, son of Narasimha Reddy, a farmer from Sadashivapalli village of Manakondur mandal in Karimnagar district, faced hardships due to his parents’ poor financial background, but he worked hard and deserves the job, said KITS College Secretary and Correspondent, Capt V Lakshmikantha Rao.
Appreciating Naveenth Reddy for securing a plum job, Principal Prof K Ashoka Reddy has stressed on imparting self-learning and self-motivation. “Self-learning in the sense of not only learning the languages or frameworks or libraries, but we have to do some real world projects with the help of these frameworks. During COVID-19 lockdown, Navaneenth started exploring different new IT fields like AI, ML, web development. Then, he got interested in web development specifically into frontend development and started learning all the trending libraries in frontend development. This has helped him to get a good job with a handsome pay package,” he added.
Meanwhile, Navaneeth Reddy was felicitated at a programme in the college here on Thursday by the College staff including Treasurer P Narayana Reddy, HoD of ECE, Prof B Rama Devi, ECE faculty members including Dr V Venkateswara Reddy, E Suresh, Dr M Raju, Zaheeruddin, V Raju Reddy, Pradeep, Manager Corporate Relations E Kiran Kumar, Placement Officer, Dr T Chandrabai, Heads, Deans, and PRO Dr Dasaroju Prabhakara Chary and others.
