Warangal Urban: Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (EIE) of the Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science Warangal (KITSW) will organise an All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) sponsored Short Term Training Program (STTP) entitled “VLSI Design: Bridging Concepts to Practice”. It will be conducted in three phases.

While the STTP-I is scheduled to be conducted from November 28 to December 3, the STTP-II will be conducted December 28 to January 2, 2021 and the STTP-III will be conducted from January 25 to 30 at the campus. On Thursday, KITSW Principal Prof K Ashoka Reddy released the STTP’s brochure along with Professor and HoD of EIE, Dr K Venu Madhav, STTP Coordinator, Dr K  Sivani, STTP co-coordinators O Anjaneyulu, an Associate Professor,  and Bathini Jeevan, an Assistant Professor, and other faculty members of the college.


Speaking on the occasion, Prof K Ashoka Reddy said that the main focus of this programme was to train the faculty on VLSI Design and VLSI Design Lab courses. “This training will also be beneficial to faculty who are teaching VLSI related courses in various PG programmes and who are looking for research opportunities in the field of VLSI,” he added.

The faculty and students of the respective engineering discipline who are interested to participate in the STTP are requested to contact co-coordinators,  Onteru Anjaneyulu at oa.eie@kitsw.ac.in and Bathini Jeevan at bj.eie@kitsw.ac.in on or before November 25.

Dean, academic affairs Prof V Rajagopal, Associate Professor and PRO Dr D Prabhakara Chary and other faculty were present.
