Hyderabad: The second and third year BDS regular theory examinations for dental colleges under Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) in the State will commence from March 23 and March 31, respectively, according to a notification from KNRUHS.

The BDS second year students who have been admitted during the academic year 2018-19 and third year students admitted during 2017-18 academic year, whose admissions are approved by the KNRUHS are eligible to appear for the examinations. The BDS second and third year students with 75 per cent of attendance or more and appeared for internal assessment examinations are eligible to appear the examinations.

Candidates admitted by KNRUHS during the academic year 2016-17 and who have failed, detained and not written the previous BDS third year examinations are also eligible to appear the examinations. The candidates admitted during the academic year 2016-17 and 2017-18 and have failed, detained or not written the previous BDS second year examinations are also eligible to appear the examinations. The cutoff date for calculation of attendance percentage is February 28 while the supplementary examinations for final year BDS candidates under KNRUHS will commence on March 24.
