KNRUHS invites applications for Nurse Practitioner in Midwifery diploma programme
KNRUHS has invited online applications for admission to the Nurse Practitioner in Midwifery Post Basic Diploma Programme for 2026-27. Eligible in-service nurses can apply from August 8 to 17, while the computer-based entrance test is scheduled for August 30 in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has invited online applications for admission into the Nurse Practitioner in Midwifery (NPM) Post Basic Diploma Program for the academic year 2026-27 through a computer-based online entrance test.
Eligible in-service candidates can submit their applications online knruhs.telangana.gov.in from 10 am on August 8 to 5 pm on August 17. Hard copies of filled-in applications along with enclosures must reach the Convener by August 18.
The computer-based entrance test will be held on August 30 at the designated test center in Hyderabad. Registered candidates can download their hall tickets starting August 26 from the official university website.
Applicants must be Registered Nurses (RN) and Registered Midwives (RM) holding a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or a B.Sc. (Nursing) degree, alongside a minimum of two years of recent clinical experience in maternity care.
Only in-service candidates are eligible for admission, allowing them to continue receiving their regular salary during training, provided they are 45 years or younger at the time of admission as per Indian Nursing Council regulations and satisfy Telangana local candidate status. The registration and counselling fee is Rs 4, 000 for OC/BC categories and Rs. 3,000 for SC/ST categories, notification said.
