Konappa birthday celebrated on a grand note in Asifabad
Activists of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and followers of Konappa gathered in important junctions of Kaghaznagar town and mandal centres to celebrate his birthday.
Kumram Bheem-Asifabad: Birthday celebrations of Sirpur (T) MLA Koneru Konappa were held on a grand note in different parts of the constituency on Wednesday.
Activists of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and followers of Konappa gathered in important junctions of Kaghaznagar town and mandal centres to celebrate his birthday. They cut cakes and shared it among themselves. They later distributed fruits to patients of government hospitals to mark the occasion.
Workers of the pink party distributed pens and notebooks to students of a government primary school in Penchikalpet mandal centre. Similar charity programmes were organized as part of the birthday celebrations. Celebrators hailed Konappa for striving to develop the constituency on many facets, besides serving the public by feeding the poor and organising social service activities.
