Korutla’s youth cracks Group-I, becomes DSP in Prisons department
Durisetti Vijay Kumar from Korutla has secured the DSP post in the prisons department by achieving 176th rank in the Group-I exam. An engineering graduate from NIT Delhi, he cleared the exam while working as a junior assistant in the Metpalli RDO office.

Jagtial: Durisetti Vijay Kumar secured a job in the prisons department by securing 176th rank in Group-I examination results announced on Wednesday. He was selected for the DSP post in the prisons department.
An engineering graduate, Vijay Kumar cracked Group-I while working as junior assistant in Metpalli RDO office.
A native of Korutla town, Vijay Kumar completed schooling in the local SFS high school and intermediate in Sri Chaitanya Junior College, Hyderabad. Later, he completed his B.Tech from NIT Delhi.
Right from childhood, he dreamed of serving society as a top-ranking officer. To fulfill his dream, he started preparation for the civil service examination and joined a coaching center in Delhi.
Two years ago, he got a junior assistant job in Group-IV.
While working in Metpalli RDO office, he continued preparation and cracked Group-I post in the first attempt. His sister is working as a software engineer. Parents Satyanarayana and mother Jamuna Rani felt happy for cracking Group-I job by their son.
