Kothagudem: Bizman commits suicide naming 45 people responsible for his death
In his letter, the business man alleged that he was targetted by local leaders, policemen, excise officials, liquor syndicate, media persons and their henchmen for questioning illegal liquor trade in Paloncha
Kothagudem: A businessman’s suicide at Paloncha in Kothagudem district has created a sensation after the deceased named 45 persons including police officers, politicians, media persons and rowdy-sheeters as responsible for his death.
The deceased, Mallipeddi Venkateshwar Rao (40) of Jayamma Colony at Paloncha, consumed poison and died while undergoing treatment at government hospital late on Thursday night. He purportedly left a suicide note before committing suicide.

Venkateshwar Rao said he was cheated by his relative and private chits operator, Nandigam Bhanu Kumar, who failed to pay a chit amount of Rs 50 lakh and one Mallela Rama Rao who allegedly occupied his house at Paloncha illegally with the alleged support of local police and politicians.
He alleged that he was targetted by political leaders, policemen, excise officials, liquor syndicate, media persons and their henchmen for questioning about illegal liquor trade in Paloncha and surrounding areas. He said he was vexed with his life and was hence, ending it as many complaints to local and higher police officials failed to yield any result or render justice to him and his family. He alleged that an SI took 110 grams of gold jewellery from him when he was ‘illegally’ sent to jail on March 14 and had not returned it after his release from jail.
Venkateshwar Rao also sent copies of his suicide letter to the Chief Secretary, District Collector, Human Rights Commission, ex-MLAs Jalagam Venkat Rao and K Sambasiva Rao and others.
Meanwhile, the deceased man’s wife M Sravani lodged a complaint with the SP Sunil Dutt and the local police seeking action against those responsible for her husband’s death.
