Forest section officer Punem Nagaraju was caught on the premises of Bhadrachalam bus stand when he was accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 from the complainant Banothu Veeranna
Kothagudem: The ACB sleuths caught a forest section officer Punem Nagaraju of Aswapuram range in Manuguru division in the district on Monday.
He was caught on the premises of Bhadrachalam bus stand when he was accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 from the complainant Banothu Veeranna of Kothuru Tanda in Aswapuram mandal.
According to ACB officials, the accused demanded the bribe to return the complainant’s cement poles taken away by him and to allow Veeranna to construct a shed to run a chicken and kirana shop at Mondikunta village on Manugur-Mondikunta road.
