Kothagudem: A government school headmaster has been suspended for neglecting the ongoing comprehensive household survey being conducted by the State government.
The headmaster of Government Primary School at Medara basti in Kothagudem, Phani Bhaskar was accused of neglecting the duties, not attending the survey and failing to give prior information about his absence to higher officials.
The HM was also accused of not submitting records related to the school and was disobeying the orders of the higher authorities. District educational officer M Venkateswara Chary issued orders on Saturday suspending the headmaster.
In June this year, Bhaskar was suspended for unauthorised absence from duties and attended an official enquiry in inebriated condition. He was suspended for the second time even before three months had passed.
