MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao inaugurated additional classrooms built at Mandal Parishad High School, Yerragunta of Paloncha mandal in the district on Wednesday.

Kothagudem: MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao inaugurated additional classrooms built at Mandal Parishad High School, Yerragunta of Paloncha mandal in the district on Wednesday.

The classrooms were built by Paloncha based Nava Limited as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative. The MLA appreciated the activities of Nava Limited for community development.

The school headmaster B Venkateswara Rao said that Nava Limited has worked hard in providing basic facilities for the development of the school. The company general manager (CSR) MGM Prasad explained health, education and livelihood programmes being carried out by the company.

Nava Limited vice president and unit head Rear Admiral (veteran) LV Sarath Babu explained the educational development programmes being conducted in many government schools for the past four decades and urged the students studying in government schools to seize those opportunities and rise to a higher level.

MEO Ramamurthy, Paloncha Municipal Commissioner Sujatha, tahsildar Vivek, DCMS chairman K. Srinivasa Rao, liaison officer Khadarendra Babu, N Srinivasa Rao, civil engineer Ch Srinivasa Rao and others were present.
