Kothagudem: The district police’s sniffer dog Juno won gold medal in the state level police duty meet-2024 held at Telangana State Police Academy, Hyderabad.
Juno won the medal in the explosives detection category in the duty meet held from October 16 to 19. Superintendent of B Rohith Raju appreciated the canine and its handler Hussain. He expressed pleasure at Juno showing the best talent to win the medal competing with 21 sniffer dogs.
The SP suggested that Juno should be trained in a way that he shows his talent at the national level duty meet and wins a gold medal for the State. He presented a reward to Juno for winning the gold medal and earning accolades to district police.
Later in the day, during a monthly crime review meeting, Rohith Raju congratulated Chandragonda SI Swapna who won a bronze medal in the fingerprints category at the state level police duty meet.
