Kothagudem: Kinnerasani wildlife division FDO, B Babu has been promoted as deputy conservator of forests.
He joined the forest department as forest guard in 1988 while pursuing his degree course. In 1990, he got the first rank in training at forest training centre at Yellandu and in 1993 he was promoted as forest section officer.
Later he got promotion as forest range officer in 2011. He made special efforts in developing CSR Central Park in Kothagudem and was promoted as assistant conservator of forests in 2017. Forest officials, staff and tribal associations congratulated Babu on his promotion. Born in a tribal family, he rose to a high position after facing many ups and downs, they said.
