Hyderabad: The Kothur Police have solved the murder of Madhav Biradar alias Akash (27), which was reported on January 11 and arrested two persons in connection on Monday.

Madhav Biradar, a resident of Sai Nagar Colony in Rajendranagar, was known to the police as a rowdy-sheeter.

Investigations found that Akash had borrowed Rs 1.5 lakh from Mohammed Owaiz (21) and failed to repay the amount, leading to frequent disputes.

Police also said Mohammed Irfan (19) bore a grudge, suspecting Akash of maintaining close relations with his sister.

Driven by these motives, the accused allegedly planned the murder together.

On January 11, they travelled with Akash in an auto to Kothur, where they consumed alcohol together. After Akash became intoxicated, he was attacked with beer bottles and stabbed to death before the assailants fled the scene.

Police teams traced and arrested the suspects in Kothur and they confessed to the killing.
