Krishna Bhaskar takes charge as CMD of Singareni Collieries Company Limited

2012-batch IAS officer Krishna Bhaskar has taken charge as Chairman and Managing Director of Singareni Collieries Company Limited in Hyderabad. He succeeds N. Balram, who returned to his parent department after holding additional charge as CMD since January 2024

Peddapalli: Krishna Bhaskar, a 2012-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL). He took charge at Singareni Bhavan, Hyderabad on Tuesday.

The State government appointed Krishna Bhaskar as the new CMD of SCCL as the incumbent, N Balram, returned to his parent department.

An Indian Revenue Service officer, Balram was shifted to Singareni on deputation in the cadre of Director (Finance) seven years ago.

In January 2024, he was given full additional charge as CMD after former CMD N Sridhar completed his tenure.
