Hyderabad: KS Rao, director, Hope Advertising Pvt Ltd received Samskruthi Puraskaram from Sanskriti Foundation on the occasion of seventh edition of Hyderabad Tyagaraja Aradhana Music Festival 2022.
He was recognised for his work in giving a platform to artistes and cultural organisations who were finding it difficult to showcase their performances during the pandemic.
Through his YouTube channel, HopeadTV, some 2,000 artists were able to stream their performances to audiences globally. Working out of an office in Lakdikapul, Rao provides all equipment to stream the performance like four cameras, mixed and video console and a high-speed internet connection.
“We charge a modest fee for the maintenance of the equipment and conveyance of our staff. We kept the cost of streaming free initially.”
