Kshira, Sneh win title doubles title in AITA Championship Series

HYDERABAD: Kshira Thota of Telangana combined well with Sneh Nandal of Delhi to win the doubles title, defeating Vani Bansal and Vaishnavi Pandey 7-3 in the AITA Championship Series (under-18) tennis tournament at Sonipat (Haryana).

Earlier in the semifinals, Kshira and Sneh blanked Jasmine Kapoor and Shana Khanna 7-0.


In the singles, Kshira lost to Mehul Malik 2-6, 1-6 in the quarterfinal after defeating Vaidehi Choudhari 6-2, 6-4 in the pre-quarterfinal and Saumya Raturi 6-2, 6-2 in the first round.
