KSRTC bus driver injured in another head-on collision with truck

A KSRTC bus collided head-on with a truck near Karankote in Tandur on Tuesday, injuring the bus driver and another person. All 15 passengers escaped unhurt, while the truck driver fled the scene. Police have launched an investigation

Hyderabad: The driver of a KSRTC bus suffered injuries after it collided head-on with a truck at Karankote in Tandur on Tuesday.

The incident occurred in the morning when the bus traveling from Gulbarga towards Tandur collided head-on with an oncoming truck near Sagar Factory, also bearing a Karnataka vehicle registration. The front portion of the bus was badly damaged in the impact.

Fortunately, all 15 passengers on board escaped unhurt. However, the bus driver suffered severe head injuries, while another person suffered minor injuries. The truck driver fled the scene immediately after the collision.

The police visited the spot and took up the investigation.
