Nalgonda: IT Minister KT Rama Rao said efforts were being made to launch the IT Hub at Nizamabad by Ugadi and the one at Mahabubnagar at the earliest.
The Minister laid foundation for the IT hub at Nalgonda on Friday.
Addressing on the occasion, the Minister said it was very encouraging that already few companies offered 1600 jobs at the IT Hub. The hub would be ready in about 18 months.
“If the companies are prepared to commence their units here temporarily, then all the temporary arrangements should be made,” Rama Rao directed the officials and local administration.
He further said for the benefit of local youth, a TASK centre would be set up in the same premises. The centre would train the youth in upgrading their skills, especially communications skills.
The Minister also announced that T HUB regional centre would also be set up in the same premises. This would aid in promoting innovations by budding entrepreneurs and students, he said.
The Minister said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao gave specific instructions to Ministers and officials to transform Nalgonda by taking up different development works.
Accordingly, he said five Basti Dawakhanas were being sanctioned to Nalgonda, besides foundation was laid for integrated vegetable and meat market with Rs.4.5 crore, two Vaikuntadhamams with Rs. 3 crore.
“The government has released Rs.30 crore to Nalgonda and the balance Rs.70 crore will also be released very soon,” said Rama Rao.
On the request by local elected public representatives for setting up other industries as there was to close 48 acres land readily available, the Minister responded positively and said all efforts would be made to get new industries to Nalgonda.
In a scathing attack on the opposition parties, he said TRS government had addressed the decades old flourosis issue in Nalgonda within 6.5 years after coming into power. This was announced by the Central Government in parliament, he said.
Similarly, Nalgonda is leading producer of paddy in the State and Telangana was leading producer of paddy in India surpassing Punjab, he said.
The Chief Minister was ensuring comprehensive development of all sectors and regions without any discrimination of Rural and urban areas. Last month, Reserve Bank of India declared that Telangana was the fourth largest contributor to Indian economy, he said.
“These are not self certifications. Please check these facts and clear doubts,” Rama Rao said to opposition parties.
In the last 65 years, there was not a single medical college in Nalgonda. Now, three medical colleges, including the AIIMS at Bibinagar, he said. Past Government’s did not bother to develop Yadadri Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple but the TRS government had reconstructed the temple with Rs.1800 crore, he reminded.
Is there any government in 28 states, which was offering Ryhtu Bandu or Rythu Bima, he asked the gathering. All these achievements were possible due to the Chief Minister’s leadership, he said.
